A large double bell gong without the clapper. The two bells are kept together by a welded arch. Noise makers of this type are used before ceremonies to clear the area of spirits - both good and bad. Iron or wood sticks were used to create the sound.
These are rare objects that held tremendous value amongst the tribes.
